Walk-In Clinic

Do you have a question (or questions) that you would like to ask a statistician? Not sure if you need a little, or a lot, of statistical input on you project? Don’t know how to proceed or who to see? Talk with a Lineberger Biostatistics Core Statistician at one of our regularly scheduled walk-in clinics.

No appointment is necessary. Just drop by and have a friendly talk with a statistician at one of our regularly scheduled Walk-In Clinics.

This is an opportunity for those who are associated with the Cancer Center, or are doing cancer research, to consult informally with a UNC Lineberger Biostatistics Core statistician.

While a Walk-In Clinic consultation may not replace the need for a more involved consultation, for something like a grant submission or a protocol, it would certainly provide a good first step toward what you may need to do next.

Please consult the UNC Lineberger Biostatistics and Data Management Core web page to confirm clinic hours (for possible cancellations that particular week).

We look forward to talking with you!

Welcome Dr. Anna Snavely

Born in Greensboro, Anna earned her undergraduate degree in mathematics with a concentration in statistics from Wake Forest University.  She completed her PhD in Biostatistics at Harvard University in 2012. Her dissertation work was motivated by cancer clinical trials and involved methods for analyzing clustered survival and multiple outcomes data.

While at Harvard, Anna was involved in many collaborative projects at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. In particular, she worked with investigators at the Center for Community-Based Research, the Head and Neck Cancer Program, and the Lance Armstrong Foundation Adult Survivorship Program.

We are very pleased to have Anna with us! Please join us in welcoming her to our Cancer Center.
