The sixth annual Oliver Smithies Nobel Symposium will be held Nov. 8, featuring keynote speaker 2012 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry Dr. Brian Kobilka. A postdoctoral mentoring luncheon with Dr. Kobilka will be held at 11:30 a.m. that's open to all UNC postdoctoral fellows and trainees, but registration is required.

Dr. Nyrop will discuss the role obesity, weight management, and physcial activity play in cancer prevention, care, and survivorship. RN/Allied Health lectures offer ANCC and ASRT continuing education credit (upon approval) for eligible participants.
