The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is hosting its annual research symposium to celebrate its research endeavors. This year’s symposium is coupled with a recognition of Dr. William Kaufmann that includes presentations by Nobel Laureate Dr. Aziz Sancar, Dr. Ned Sharpless, and Dr. Marila Cordeiro-Stone.
The Farm Party, which features great North Carolina food, drinks and music, as well as a good time for all, has raised more than $15,000 for cancer research, treatment and outreach programs at UNC Lineberger since 2013.
