Second Annual Free to Breathe Lung Cancer 5K


A team from UNC participated in the second annual Free to Breathe Lung Cancer 5K on November 8. UNC Lineberger and Rex Cancer Center helped to sponsor the event held by the National Lung Cancer Partnership to fund research into lung cancer. The Partnership’s mission is to decrease deaths due to lung cancer, and help patients live longer and better, through research, awareness, and advocacy. The Raleigh event had 917 registrants and raised over $110,000.
