UNC Gynecologic Oncology Faculty Among Featured Speakers at Ovarian Cancer Survivors Course

A free full day Ovarian Cancer Survivors Course is being offered for cancer survivors, friends, family members and others.

Several Gynecologic Oncology faculty members from UNC will participate in the course including Victoria Bae-Jump, MD, PhD; John Boggess, MD; Wesley C. Fowler, Jr., MD; Paola Gehrig, MD; John Soper, MD; and Linda Van Le, MD.

UNC patient and five year cancer survivor Wanda Wooten will provide a patient’s perspective on ovarian cancer.

The course will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the Renaissance Raleigh North Hills Hotel in Renaissance Ballroom A from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
