2009 Joseph S. Pagano Award Winners Announced

The Joseph S. Pagano Award was established to honor outstanding papers by postdoctoral fellows who are first authors of the papers.

First place winner: Han Dan (Baldwin Lab) for his article in the 6.1.08 issue of Genes and Development titled "Akt-dependent regulation of NF-κB is controlled by mTOR and Raptor in association with IKK."

Second place winner: Stephanie Hicks (Sondek Lab) for her article in the 8.8.08 issue of Molecular Cell titled "General and versatile autoinhibition of PLC isozymes."

Third place winner: Michael Carlson for his article in the 2.5.09 issue of Blood titled "In vitro-differentiated TH17 cells mediate lethal acute graft-versus-host disease with severe cutaneous and pulmonary pathologic manifestations."
