Symposium Held on April 24 -25 in Kitty Hawk, NC

Over 100 people attended a symposium titled “Coping with Cancer: Practical Strategies for Clinicians, Patients and Their Families” held on April 24-25 in Kitty Hawk, NC.

The symposium included a keynote address, lectures and small group and panel discussions. Topics included psychosocial issues in cancer patients; helping children when a parent has cancer; assisting couples through the cancer experience; palliative care; and financial aspects of cancer treatment.
