Join the UNC Cancer Network for an online telehealth lecture with Melissa Troester, PhD. Participants will learn about the subtypes of breast cancer and how they are identified with tissue biomarkers, differences in risk factor and survivorship profiles for breast cancer subtypes, and racial disparities in incidence and mortality from breast cancer and the research challenges for understanding and resolving disparities.

This presentation of Cancer Transitions will be conducted in Spanish, and will run from April 14 until May 19. Each weekly session lasts for 2 - 2 1/2 hours and includes information on nutrition, exercise, coping with stress, and medical care, plus delicious healthy snacks. This program is open to cancer patients who have completed treatment and their loved ones.
