Wine Bar Puts Charities on its Tab

On July 9, 2008, West End Wine Bar kicked off its new Local Artists, Local Charities series with a gallery showing of artwork by Ed Larson, a reception, music by Mark Wells, wine specials, and a raffle that raised over $1,000.

Seven of Larson’s pieces were sold that night, with a percentage of each purchase donated to UNC Lineberger. The raffle earnings were also donated to UNC Lineberger.

Branching Streams will be on display throughout the summer at West End Wine Bar and pieces from the show are still available for purchase. Check them out in person or at
