Wendy Quigley, RN
As an Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse Coordinator, Wendy provides patients and families with education regarding the transplant process and coordinates their appointments and tests to prepare for their transplant admission. She also works closely with the adult transplant team and other members of the adult multidisciplinary team.
"For the past 24 years I’ve had the pleasure of doing a job that I love," says Wendy. "My patients give me the opportunity to play a role in a very challenging time in their lives and I feel blessed to share those experiences. It’s truly an honor."
Wendy's nursing career originally started in New York, and she has worked at UNC for the past 18 years. Before her current position with the Bone Marrow Transplant team, she worked in Surgery and Trauma.
Recently remarried, Wendy's blended family includes her two daughters, ages 11 and 16, and her husband’s two adult children. She and her husband just found out that they are going to be grandparents next year!
