Area of Interest
My areas of interest are gastrointestinal cancer and palliative/supportive care, and the pharmacology of both antineoplastics and supportive care medications.
I am involved in developing a translational research program in supportive care. This will incorporate the genetics of pain and behaviors and correlate them with aspects of interventional supportive care such as the management of depression in cancer patients, alteration in pharmacokinetics of opioids, and alterations in taste due to anti-neoplastics and radiation.
