Area of Interest
The Laederach Lab is interested in all aspects of RNA structure and folding. We are particularly interested in understanding the relationship between RNA structure (or lack thereof) and function. We study “RiboSNitches,” which are structured elements in RNA that undergo a conformational change if a functional mutation (or SNP) is present.
