Research Interests
Dr. Halle is a member of the Multi-disciplinary Thoracic Oncolgy Program (MTOP) and the Multi-disciplinary Breast Program. Her work has helped to make these programs ones that are recognized regionally and nationally for their use of the most current treatment strategies. Using 3-D treatment planning pioneered at UNC has helped to define the target volume for each patient and minimize late complications. Dr. Halle's clinical work allows her to follow patients long term and using phone outreach is always available to her patients. She enjoys meeting informally with some of the local patient support groups as well.
