Bone and Soft Tissue Oncology Program

The Bone and Soft Tissue Oncology Program takes a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating patients with musculoskeletal tumors.

Our program provides and coordinates the expertise of physicians from orthopedic, medical, surgical, and radiation oncology, diagnostic radiology, surgical pathology, reconstructive surgery, and oncology nursing.

Location and Hours

Patients are usually seen initially in the Orthopaedic Clinic located on the second floor of the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC), on the medical campus of the University of North Carolina. The Orthopaedic Clinic is held on Wednesdays from 8:15 am - 4:00 pm and Fridays from 8:15 am - 4:00 pm.

Other appointments may be arranged for patients to be seen in clinics in the N.C. Cancer Hospital. One such clinic is the surgical oncology clinic. The surgical oncology clinic is held Monday - Friday.
