Course Held for Ovarian Cancer Survivors
Ovarian cancer survivors learned about new developments and research at a daylong course held on Saturday, April 17 in Raleigh.
Sponsored by the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation, the meeting featured faculty speakers from UNC Lineberger, Duke, the University of Virginia, and Johns Hopkins. Cancer survivor Wanda Wooten of Wake Forest shared her perspective and experiences. Patients and families came from as far away as Asheville and Kure Beach.
