Tickled Pink Event Raises Over $55,000

Led by Margie Haber and Missy Julian-Fox, 30 dedicated volunteers from Chapel Hill and Durham (listed below) presented two incredible Tickled Pink luncheons to raise money for the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center’s research, treatment and prevention programs for women. Thanks to their tremendous efforts, generous sponsors and an extremely supportive community, Tickled Pink raised over $55,000!

We are so grateful to Squid’s and Galloway Ridge for opening their doors to host us, catering the event and allowing us to embellish their establishments with pink. A special thanks as well goes to the Chapel Hill Restaurant Group, the Fearrington House and Bell Leadership for their major sponsorships.

It is a wonderful day when we can gather together, as over 400 attendees did, to celebrate life, friendships and hope. The dollars raised at Tickled Pink will make a real difference to the people of North Carolina as the cancer center seeks to provide all patients the very best possible care through continually generating new ideas and novel approaches to cancer treatment, prevention and control.
