This is North Carolina Central University’s inaugural conference
exploring issues affecting health equity. This Conference is an outcome
of NCCU’s academic and research commitment to the amelioration of
health disparities specifically, and overall health and wellness in general.
To successfully achieve health equity, translational research and the
establishment of innovative partnerships are essential.
