Joseph DeSimone, PhD, Chancellor’s Eminent Professor of Chemistry, gave an interview to EarthSky regarding his green inventions, his current work and the future of science.

Dr. DeSimone is Chancellor’s Eminent Professor of Chemistry at UNC, William R. Kenan Jr. Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering at NCSU, Director of the Institute for Advanced Materials and the Institute for Nanomedicine at UNC, and Co-Director of the Carolina Center of Cancer Nanotechnology Excellence. He is also a member of UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
